Biography

SAM HARRIS is a bestselling author, neuroscientist and philosopher. He is co-founder and Chief Executive Office of Project Reason, a non-profit foundation that promotes science and secular values. Sam also is host of the podcast  Waking Up With Sam Harris. He authored many books among which is the the bestselling End of Faith, which won the 2005 PEN Award for Non-Fiction. Other titles that he authored are: Letter to a Christian Nation, The Moral Landscape, Free Will, Lying and Waking Up. His new book with Maajid Nawaz, Islam and the Future of Tolerance, will be out soon. Sam written numerous essays and articles for several different publications. He is a sought after speaker where he speaks on a wide range of topics which generally focus on how we can change how we live through a growing understanding of ourselves and the world. Sam received a degree in philosophy from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in neuroscience from UCLA.
