Hi Caudencia, sorry about yesterday. We had technical difficulties yesterday for the launch… that was my fault 🙂
We’re on time today though!… We’ve left the Mark Williams session open to compensate… Enjoy todays session!

This summit is great. It was possible to download day1 lecture but apparently not today? Will it be possible to download the talks daily or is it necessary to pay for whole conference. What if I want only to download 2 or 3 talks? Thanks

Thank you Joseph – for a wonderful clear explanation that Mindfulness is a practice and to remember each moment is an opportunity to start again – something I know I am learning through my “adventure”. Gratitude to all who have pulled this summit together.

      Be simple and easy.
Act without attachment to the fruit of the act.
Have already been turning these over and trying to see what they mean for me. Mother, grandmother, wife, person.

I thought I was mastering Mindfulness and I’m realising that I’m only just beginning!! Loved day 1 and day 2 brought a whole other bunch of insights. Two things hit me during the meditation, firstly the amount of opportunities for mindfulness in distractions from the body or noise, where previously I’d probably seen them as distracting me from the practice (I realise now they are the practice) and secondly when Joseph referred to “The body”, not ‘your body’ – I felt a sense of detachment and yet a connection, which led me to realise what I am is more than my mind and my body which led to an overwhelming feeling of joy. Thanks for the Summit and thanks to Joseph for his insights and meditation practice. Brilliant.

Hi, the only link I have on this page is to buy a full access pass – I thought each day was free for 24 hours? I also missed yesterday because my internet can’t cope with 73MB of download – are there smaller versions available?!

Yesterday’s talk was inspiring…I am loving this summit so far. I have a query, I could access the transcript yesterday but why it is not available for today’s talk? If not for download, could the team please make it available only for online reading? I have a slow internet so the transcripts come handy while the video/audio buffer. Much Thanks.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the first two presentations. I have learned a lot from both Mark and Joseph who are so knowledgeable and pleasant to listen to. I loved the idea of the three step breathing space from Mark and then the emphasis on not just recognizing but accepting emotions from Joseph. Thank you for bringing this incredibly interesting and valuable information to all of us.

If only the masses learned to reduce greed, hatred and delusion. There would be no more wars, but instead acceptance of all living beings and creatures breathing with us on this planet.

Awesome! What a great explanation of what mindfulness is and how it should not just be for the duration of a meditation but that it should be part of our whole life. I love the thought of being mindful of what we say. A great place for me to start having many more moments in my day of being mindful. Thank you Melli.

I am a beginner but I am so glad I finally signed up for this beautiful experience and learning simple ways to declutter the mind. Looking forward to a great learning experience!

“Be simple and easy” is definitely something I’ll use! Thank you for Day 2 – loving the personal element of talking to these really interesting and honest people.

Thank you for bringing the mindfulness summit to enable more people to learn and gain more insight. I am still new to this way of life and am glad that I have found it.

I would liked to have asked Joseph on his points to suffering, how do you know true acceptance, letting be, when the mind and body naturally craves peace and wants to expel suffering.

I’m sad I can’t get the mp3 version of today’s talk without paying $79. My internet access is sketchy – I’m in a very rural location – and it takes about 30 minutes to download the mp3 – streaming is out of the question. I may not want any other lectures – so I am expected to pay $79 for one? And it seems, as as is so often the case, only people with financial means can really benefit from this. Once again, I am reminded that there are “haves” and “have nots”, and I am sadly a “have not.” So much for a “free summit”.

I hope you’ll reconsider and make the mp3s available for the 24-hour period for each lecture.

I found both talks engaging and easy to follow. Many of the concepts discussed really resonated with me in terms of how to consider and integrate them into my own meditative practice on my journey of healing and self discovery. I look forward to tuning back in over the coming days to discover all I can about simple yet profound awareness skill. Thank you so much!

Like the reference to non clinging -simple and easy about things and that interest is a most beneficial quality. Also liked the reference to being careful with our speech.

  17. Claire Jones

Thanks for a wonderful and insightful session. Found that the part about sudden awakening and then gradual cultivation very helpful as well as bringing mindfulness to communication 🙂

  18. Carole Metron

I don’t seem to be getting any emails. Is anyone else experiencing this? I have been able to still listen to the sessions through the website and clicking on “live” Will this access b eavailable all the time throug hthe website or should I be expecting to get emails?

Enjoyed today’s session very much. Mark’s yesterday kept cutting in and out so I was unable to finish it.

  19. Kellie

The split screen is too distracting so I need to listen to it on soundcloud. Could you please try not to put all the mmms, yeses, ah-huhs in there? I know it’s polite listening but it’s distracting for the listener and serves no point (and there are so many of them). I really want to focus on what the speakers have to say in this series and I see all the sound effects getting in the way.

  20. Anne Bernard

I too am not getting emails, though I am registered. I would also request that you make the downloads available for free for 24 hours. I can’t always be at my computer and don’t want to miss a session. Thank you.

Thank you for this thought provoking interview. ‘Simple and easy’ love it. I also like the connection of Mindfulness being an adventure – it is so in tune with my own vision – ‘life is an adventure or nothing’. Thank you to everyone who has put so much time and energy into this Summit – we should all be so grateful. X

  22. Kellie

Also, you lead conversations and put words in the speaker’s mouth, forcing them to respond to your train of thoughts, and also interrupting them. Please give the speaker some space and let him speak without interruption. Do you think you might ask questions and then leave the speaker to answer without telling him your opinion? Otherwise this series is all about you (like Oprah Winfrey or Angela Bishop).

Blimey, it’s only 15 minutes and there are probably 200+ yeps. You don’t need to fill all the spaces – personally, I cannot do a month of this. Please listen back and see how much you’re interfering. You talk as much as they do.

  23. Rosita Fernandez-Rojo

I was hoping to download the meditation downloads from yesterday onto my home (rather than work) computer from Mark Williams’ session yesterday, but don’t see them now. Any chance to still get them?

  24. Christine Brown

Thank you for the Summit. I’ve very much enjoyed both talks and found them interesting and helpful. It was a lovely start to this morning, listening to the talk and have the sitting practice.
