How Does Mindfulness Relate To Spiritual Awakening? An Interview & Meditation With Tami Simon

    Really enjoyed the guided practise of Tami. She has an amazing voice, but also the term ‘inner body’ hit such a deeper layer during this practise. Really felt like I was breathing with my whole body.

      I donated the 79.00 on Oct 3rd to have full access pass but I am unable to access any of the lectures from the first 2 weeks of Oct now (except the first). Perhaps someone can work on this aspect of the site? I have sent two email requests for assistance. Thank you for your help.

        Figured it out….I kept trying to start the audio-video window that comes up atop another (exactly the same image). Clicking on the second image/window I am able to access earlier broadcasts. Sorry I didn’t figure this out earlier before posting above.

        Really enjoyed Tami’s guided meditation. It felt like breathing in clean air and exhaling stress/tension/tired air throughout the whole body. Very nice experience. Thank you very much.

    Ohhh, I loved doing this Body Breathing exercise!
    I have done a very small bit of something like that. When I teach my fitness classes and done the stretching, I have used terms like “breathe into your shoulders, let them relax, breathe into your feet” etc. But, now I’m going to incorporate much more of this into my personal practice as well as when I’m teaching classes.

    The notion of self as thinker, that kind of dualism, disappears in the unity of action, of doing. We are never just “thinking,”; that is an illusion. We are sitting, walking, whatever. Thinking in words is simply one isolated aspect of a larger process, the process that is you or me. And the wider circle that this thinking/acting extends to is of course the universe itself, not some vast repository in the sky. That kind of awareness, to see the world in a grain of sand and the universe in a wildflower, as Blake said, is what some have attained. I wish I could some day.
