The conversation between mel and jono was so lovely and inspiring. Petting my dog in the early am while he sits on my lap, listening with my heart to the story of an elderly client while providing physical therapy in their home, feeling my legs carry me and being thankful while on my walk – all are mindfulness. thank you!

Learning to be kind to yourself is such an important lesson! Much gratitude for these experiences. Keep spreading the love and the light! It is making a difference!

I resonated with the concept of just being in nature is a meditation of mindfulness. I feel a connection, a kinship with the entire world when I’m wandering in the wood.

Thanks, Melli, Matt and crew, for another wonderful interview. It was very enjoyable and insightful. Yes, we are stuck with capitalism, but it doesn’t have to lead us to our ruin and that of all other beings. I am interested in learning more about conscious capitalism and what is being done to promote it.

I have been practicing Transcendental-Meditation since the 70th. I value it very much. It has made a positive difference in mine and that of my family. — Mindfulness, although, I realize it has it’s roots in ancient traditions, it feels kind of new to me. I love, love what I hear and plan to incorporate it into my own life. Especially the practice of mindfulness during daily, awake activities.
Mostly, what I wanted to say is that I truly liked how Jono presented. I appreciated him sharing about the full spectrum of his life, him giving himself permission to be honest about his feelings, him acknowledging his humanness. To me that constitutes, having awaken to knowing what truly matters in life. —
Mellie, you are a great interviewer, always asking the right question at the right time. –Wishes to both of you for continued joy of life on your path of contemplative living.

I really enjoyed today’s talk. I live in Switzerland so have been unable to order these cards through the site; instead I got a friend who lives in Melbourne to send me some. They have all been used up and are making their way around this wonderful country. Are there any plans to provide them outside of Australia?

It would be great if you could add a more robust reference section. For example, in this session you and Mr. Fisher mentioned several podcasts that I’d like find. Thanks.

Loved Jono’s comment that Kindness starts with Kin, acts of kindness fosters connection.
Thank you, Melli for introducing new (to me) leaders in this movement.

Loved Jono’s comments about men embracing mindfulness. Would love to see this practice revolutionize the American male….there is so much bravado and chest thumping here. To see an American male take a moment from his Sunday football revelry to meditate, now THAT would be something incredible! But as Melli said, “one person at a time”. 😉

Shared some of his insights with my husband who is helping me in my journey. I particularly love the idea of mindfulness changing a tight closed brain and thought process to one that is more open and spacious. Perfect description. We all have the same amount of time and things to fit into our time but with mindfulness, the time seems more spacious. I have less stress when my mind is not tight and overlapping. This new perception of the space we get is such a great description.

Thank you for this, really enjoyed it and the comments of how mindfulness manifests for different doing f=different things and I so share your hope for a mindful business world.. we really need that.

This is a wonderful series. I was wondering how it might be possible to meet up with people in my area who would like to practice mindfulness together. To form a community would be self-reinforcing. I live in the Richmond, VA area in the US.

    My email is mildbilbo@gmail.com

    Thanks! from Bill

This was great! Really enjoyed hearing Jono’s articulation of the relief when he breaks out of a phase of being lost in his head – the relief when clunking back down into his body/the present moment. Didn’t know about Jono or the WakeUpProject before now – am going to check it out! Thanks again Melli for all your work in pulling this summit together.. am thoroughly enjoying it. Cheers from Wellington, New Zealand. xx

Thanks for another great interview 🙂 I resonated with the discussion about different forms of mindfulness and issues facing men. Even though I am a woman I recognise the great suffering and struggle that men are facing and that this causes a break down of communication between men and women. Like the concept of being a good human rather than ‘good man’ or ‘good woman’ as well. It’s all about being true to who we are.

Thank you. I really enjoyed this talk. I did not think I would at first but kept listening and it really did feel good. Jono was a perfect person for this particular interview and talk. It would be wonderful to have business people practice this and for the whole world to join in. It gave me so much more hope than I have had recently. And I am getting used to the young, enthusiastic interviewer but still would prefer to see a larger picture of the speaker. Also, I can hardly see what I am typing since it is a very light gray color. I am rather old with poor eyesight and hearing. Still love this whole path of meditation. Again, thank you,

Great interviews since Day 1; thank you for organizing all this event and making it so easily available. I’m new to mindfulness and this is a revelation for me. I am really interested to get to know more about mindful leadership and how this is already successfully applied in Europe and if possible more specifically in the financial/banking industry in Europe. Indeed, success stories in that sector in Europe would help me to meet the right people in the right companies (more specifically in Belgium to start with) and be in a position to present a attractive ‘business case’ to my own employer to propose/support a mindfulness program within our company. I know about Eurolear and I think ING Belgium too , but maybe someone in the community can help me further on this.
Thanks a lot in advance to anyone who could help move this forward 🙂

Such connectedness. So appreciate hearing your perspective Jono. We can all share and relate in some way. Remembering to practice mindfulness in business can be challenging, but the benefits are invaluable. Thank you!

Would love some kindness cards – but you can’t get them outside of Australia yet it seems, have you thought about offering a download kindness card option on the wake up project site so that people can make their own and keep your costs down too!

Thank you Melli and Jono for a truly wonderful discussion and for your visions and commitment to exploring the potential of mindfulness to serve as a transformative tool. I can’t imagine anything more potentially powerful than spreading the news about Mindful Masculinity and Conscious Capitalism in our contemporary world. There are so many alienated, isolated, angry young men who are estranged from society as well as their authentic selves and many are acting out with violence and hatred. One wonders what impact the message of mindfulness might have in helping them to learn how to connect with “kin” and self. And there are too many corporations with CEOs and boards of directors whose only concern is quarterly profits. One wonders how mindfulness in the corporate leadership world might lead not just to more creative solutions to pressing world problems but as importantly to a kinder, happier and productive workplace and to a healthier, saner, and happier society. Conscious capitalism can lead to higher levels of creativity, less income inequality, and healthier and happier consumers who understand the need to curb their wants in order to satisfy the real needs of society and the globe.

Greetings from Massachusetts! Loving the summit so far – each speaker has been unique and has gifted us with little takeaways that are easily applied to everyday living. I especially liked Jono for talking about the MAGIC of dogs – I commune with my Australian Shepherd daily (not a proper “Aussie;” she was born in Pennsylvania). High Five, Melli! You are doing a wonderful job with the interviews.

A well done interview as always Melli. Jono was a joy to see in an interview. Thank you so much for doing this. It is very much appreciated.
